Hello my mirror
Reflection's what I need
The more you dwell on fear
The more it suits reality
Mind's my receiver
Installs all sounds I knead
Warming your atmosphere
Charged at a price no one can see
I feel like Walt Disney
The guest star appearance on Sesame Street
Never sold my old soul
Only traded it in and took back control
Let's take a little trip tonight
Just be prepared to get flipped inside out
If you're stuck inside the roundabout
I'll help you find your way 'round
You won't find your happiness
In anybody else
Don't believe the lies they're feeding you
It's only in yourself
Don't blame society for your own misery
Take some responsibility for your poor instability
You're wasting your time in attempts to tear me down
I'll go make history
As I smile and gladly watch you drown
Why do I push everyone I love away?
Is it because I'm not enough,
Or you don't love me the same?
I'll be leaving soon
With my one way ticket
You'll be seeing all my cartoons
But I won't forget to visit
Home
Home
Home
Oh, home.

Really great. If you like Hail the Sun, DGD, I can't recommend these guys enough. This is one of my favourite albums of all time. Dwellings makes swancore with a twist - to my ears they have a more progressive-focused sound, and the lyrics and themes are always interesting and are what keeps bringing me back for another listen. The latest Djunah LP channels the duo's heavy, intensely cathartic sound to reflect on living with and healing from trauma. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 14, 2023
